I noticed today something I've never seen before on him.It doesn't look like ich. There's a bunch of very very tiny white spots all over as well as his tail looks shredded. He did not look like this last night.I would take pic but you wouldn't be able to see the tiny spots. They kind of remind me of the tiny bubbles they get in the sometimes when they are playing in the bubbler.Any thoughts or suggestions on how I might want to treat it as would be appreciated.

Maybe its Velvet. Is it a Male or Female?

The weird thing is I cleaned the tank Thursday.I clean it once every week or two.Like I said I'm only assuming it's Velvet. All this showed up overnight.Tail looks shredded, not fin rot,and tiny little spots all over, not like it

Are there any sharp objects in the aquarium, like plastic plants, rough gravel, driftwood, sharp rocks, a rough filter intake (like the ones built into the lower-end Marineland Eclipse systems)?

Actually I did add some new fake plants in when I cleaned tank and I did wash plants before putting in.The one plant that was glued to his house when I first got him does have somewhat pointy leaves on it.I've had that house with plant since I got him about 6 months ago.

That could be the cause of the damaged fins. Their fins get caught on everything, so it's recommended to use either live or silk plants.
