Betta in community tank

I cant find anything about bettas in community tanks over 10 gal.
I have a 180g with a 2700gph powerhead. Will he be ok? Tankmates will be platies and mollies.
Anybody with experience on this?

Yes he would be fine with them. Is your tank planted?
