State of chaos
So I just went over to check on my 5g planted which houses a male Crowntail and a rescued Cory, and noticed the Betta sitting in between the leaves near the bottom. This is very odd for him, so I poked at him a bit, and he swam out and floated up to the surface despite swimming against it. I then noticed that he looks somewhat bloated. Not very bloated, just as if he had recently eaten a big meal, which he hasnt. He seems to be trying to wedge himself between leaves on the bottom. His scales are NOT protruding as if it were dropsy. So what should I do? Should I put the Cory in a different tank, like, is it contageous?
Thanks. I really don't wanna lose the Betta, he has so much personality. Also keep in mind that I am going away for 11 days on Wednesday.
