Hello, quick post here. I got a new betta last night, and he isn't eating. I just want to know if this is normal or not. In the past, I've only gotten bettas from people who no longer can care for them. This betta is new with no previous owner so I don't know if this is normal for a new betta. Are there any tricks anybody knows I can use to get him to eat?

It’s common for new fish to not eat. Would give it another day and let the fish settle and retry feeding.
