Do you breed them?
 
Well, actually, I tried with one of my males, he is a charmer(Valor), but totally forgets to keep making the nest. So that failed. My other guy just doesn't give a darn(Lemon). There is also Amai, but he is too young and small still. And Kenji is also a bit too young, though he lives in the 90gal tank. The other guys have gotten into fights and lost and aren't fin fit to breed. Kyle Jr. I've had for awhile, he's small, idk if he would go for it or hide from the females...lol.
 
Sweet Bettas! Have you tried using a clear divider when you try breeding them? This will give the male some time to build a nest.
 
As you can somewhat see here, the tanks are divided using plastic canvas/craft mesh. I have a 1/2 plastic jar with holes that I use for keeping the female in.
