okay so i had some tadpoles in this thing called frog habbitate but they sucked and never turned into frogs so i am making it a betta habbitate

i filled it up with water and it does hold it i will attach some pics of it so u guys can tell me wether its a good idea or not

and can 2 females live in it together?
or can a male and a female live in it together?

o and see how the water only goes about half way up i will fill it all the way to the top so the betta will be able to get to the cave and all the fake plants

Yes two females will coexist. Do not put male and female together until ready to breed or someone will get torn up.

okay then i will do 2 females

dragonfish love ur female con in ur avatar wish mine looked like that(mine has barly any orange)

It needs to be heated.
Bettas need a constant temp in the mid 70's to low 80's to live well.
It also will need a filter, contrary to popular belief bad water conditions are every bit as harmful to them and their gills as they are to other fish.
The unfortunate fact for bettas is that even if their gills are burnt useless by ammonia they can still breath air. That means they can live through WAY more ammonia then most fish, and those who don't look closely believe them to be thriving despite this.
The end result is that people believe that a shallow, small, tank is better for them, as bettas have been known to drown when they couldn't get to the surface for air. This is, of course, despite the fact that they *should* have gills that allow them to exist just fine without breathing air.

Two females in a small space may or may not work out well, bettas are fairly intelligent, and with that comes personality.
Unfortunatly personality means that what works for one betta may not work for another. Some females are perfectly happy coexisting with other fish, others kill everything in their tank :P

IMO...Females establish a pecking order so if you only have 2 the strongest will harass the smaller one constsntly, this is why you need to have at least 5 or 6 to spread the aggression outward.
