Betta's in coldwater (pond)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A Betta won't survive in a pond even in CA. And if the pond is outdoors, when the water drops below 65F...:rip

Aww man well thanks , still lookin on what to add then... Getting bored of my sturgeon, koi, and gars lookin for that new guy. Don't get me wrong their awesome but I want that crazzy fish in there. I wish they had cw stingrays

Minnows make a great addition to a pond. Another cold water species that can work are Chinese Hi-Fin Sharks.

The only thing I would worry about is if you get some kind of aggressive fish that would nip at its fins. It's ironic that bettas are aggressive with each other but are wussies with other fish, The Doctor

Yeah i keep my betta in a small small coffee mug sized tank.. well two mugs.. its not that small..he can still swim. :D No heaters or anything.
