I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but Im just curious as to peoples opinion. Whats a prettier fish Bocourti or Yellow red fin Pearsei?

There hot bulky but k,male jag , bifasciatus syspillum melanarus red tiger mota female red terror female ,male salvini, umbee, green beani to name a few. Some time the eyes just needs more data

Bocourti for me

Here is a bocourti (4") and pearsei (3") I bought from Cichlid Connection a while back. My vote would be bocourti, both for color and personality. But I like them both.

I'll be the first to say pearsei! I have a 5-6in male that has great color and personality. He's a deep green/gold and shows a ton of red and blue spangles in his fins. Begs for food like a puppy every time I'm near the tank!

fug202, yours looks pretty washed out but is still pretty young as well (may be due to the flash?). I think there are a few different varieties of pearsei as I've seen some real lookers as well as some very drab ones.

Edit: Ahh notho beat me to it! Great looking pearsei and bocourti!

Yeah, it's still pretty small. I'm hoping the colors grow richer as it ages. There is a hint of orange in the scales, and perhaps a little on the fins as well. I think these shots show it a bit better than the first.
