Hypothetically which would be a better option to live with my pretty large Oscar.
A. Firemouth
B. Leporinus
C. Either one would get eaten

I already have the firemouth and leporinus in the same tank, but they are always fighting which I hate to see, so my only options are to put one in a 10g (not going to happen) or with the O. Thoughts?

I would say b)Leporinus but that is only if the aquarium is large enough for both. Leporinus get large also.

I would also say leporinus. A firemouth won't stand a chance should the Oscar get aggressive.

Would you say this because of the quickness of the Leporinus? because it seems like with the slenderness of it's body, it would be easier to swallow.

Another cichlid is more likely to be a target for aggression than a non cichlid tank mate.
Any Oscar tank mate should be too large to fit in its mouth.

be careful with leporinus theyre eye eaters... will eat/suck out the eyes
of other fish and can be pretty aggressive, not to mention itll any live plants
if u ever put any in your tanks.

If the oscar is young and not very big, chances are they will get along provided they grew up together.
