Better pics with new camera!

Ok if anybody saw my last thread i posted pictures of what i had taken with my new nikon l100 but were not so great, now after reading the manual and messing with the features and taking hundreds of pictures here are some of the best i came up with. let me know what you guys think.

please explain why you ask that for? im new to this whole taking photo's thing, just something i just started to get in about a month ago after seeing all these great photo's here

why the flash?

It's really hard to get good looking pictures with the flash on. DVS, took really great pictures with the flash.

I could never really get great photo's what the flash on......Great photos DVS, i love the orino shots.

thanks, yes its really hard to take pics without flash, i still dont know how to set my shutter speed and aperture at correct settings to take pics without flash
I just got a nikon coolpix l100, not a dslr but its great for somebody who is a beginer like me

Does you camera have a "S" setting?

no insult bro just wondering if there was a specific reason you are using it or if u got better pix with flash, because generally you will get true er colors with out flash, and on the close up of the endli your camera blocked part of the flash giving it the half shaded look
