Better worm to feed fish with?

Which would be the better worm as far as breeding for food

red wigglers
or
night crawlers

ultimately, it all depends on what the worms have been raised on. I give larger fish night crawlers, and smaller fish red wigglers. i also toss panfish worms into the fray.

well i can get 1000 red wigglers for $25 and they are easy to breed or i can spend $40 and get 250 night crawlers

If they're easy to breed I'd go with the red wigglers, might have a nice food supply contantly replenishing itself if you get them to breed.
