My local LFS offered me Pulchra and Bleheri a few days ago. Which is nicer and easier to keep between C.Bleheri and C. Pulchra ? And how to sexing ? thx

Both are good,bleheri are smaller and a bit lazy so you get away with a smaller tank.
Pulchra is more lively and gets bigger,both are subtropical.Sexing young fish is hard.if not impossible.
Adult bleherimales tend to have broader and flatter heads,pulchra i dont know.
Check the stickys there are a lot of good info there.

You will be able to keep Bleheri as a group. Unless you have a large aquarium you will not be able to do this with Pulchra. Bleheri might reach 7", the Pulchra will easyly reach 10"-11"+.
Thx for the reply guys. Those Bleheri that offered to me are about 5", price 40$ each. if those channas are subtropical , do they can be kept here.I live in tropical country, Water temp about 26-30 C .
I guess that temp is a bit too high in the long run.If you want a small to mid size channa perhaps a gachua from a tropical area would work out fine.
C.Gachua is very abundan here, u can fish em and got 10 fishes in 20minutes,lol. don't like cause less in color.dbb;3451429; said:

yes, but Channa is not so popular here in my country. It's so hard to find various chanas , just a few impoter do some chanas.
