im just wondering, how come not alot of people buys or keep beuttikoferri? Is it cause they hide alot? Not alot of personality? They stay slim like a WC teug? They are slow grower?

My gold dust is always hiding. Not as sought after for sure because of this. Got it couple years ago and about 8 inches. Slow growing for me. Very timid but not like my retro.
For me it's simply a lack of local availability. I really only see a handful of polys in my area and they tend to be the more common upper jaw: Senegal, albino Senegal, ornate, and occasionally delhezi.

Locally there's not much variety here in central Florida. Typical endli and senegalus. Always order online and got mine from wetspot.

Rehomed when I got the bigger weeksii that was 7"
The second one
This one was about 8" when I rehomed. Again due to fact I was going with big polys, the lower jaws were soon to come.
These guys have awesome color and patterns. If you are patient with them you will get rewarded with an awesome looking poly!

I always see them in the market, not locally but ive seen them available online. I see people kept them but they always rehome them too.
They dont look ugly and imo they are one of the most beautiful UJ out there. Maybe people get tried of them cause they do hide alot.
