Beveled glass for monster tank

I recently found a guy that's selling a 8x2x2 glass tank.the only concern I haveis that the glass is beveled. He claims thetankwas together before and he has the stainless braces that he had custom made for it. I'm just use to all tanks being butt jointed.please lmk im suppose to pick up the glass on Sunday.

In other words the corners are mitered.does anyone have info?

I've never seen one w/ beveled glass...

tempered glass is usually beveled, and i have seen some other custom tanks with beveled glass.

i have a 400 custom that is fully tempered and beveled.

all Marineland tanks are currently bevelled, and I have a 65g that is fully bevelled.

so I don't think it is going to make a bit of difference..
