well well. i had just 3 weeks ago got a Jau Cat, Man-Eating Catfish (Zungaro Zungaro. he is an awsome awsome cat fish. in 3 weeks he has already grown an inch. but beware, this awsome cat is a killer. i put mine in a tank that all fish where to big ti fit in it mouth. then one day a pbass that was a little bigger than him was gone. there was the jau cat siting there with a full tummy. since then any fish that has swam by in hole he would stike out and chop them in to two pices so he could fit it in his mouth. so know i put him in a tank with much bigger fish. oh and i was keeping him feed. he just likes to kill. just wanted everyone to know its an awsome cat so if you get one plan ahead. but if you got room or big tank mates go for it

They are pretty nice looking cats. I think the only fish that is capabale of living with them is Pacu's for they are round and too thick to gulp.
hey man were did you get the jau cat i want one wicked bad know that you told me wat it does..... tell me pretty please please.. i need to know.... and how much... i want a juv.. if i can get one... just let me know.... 
once it gets past about 12" there will be no fish that can live with it (although I did keep a shoal of 150 neons with my 34" Jau --- looked awesome but the neons were so small that they were not even bothered with for food).
What set up do you have it in?
I am currently growing another on that is about 12" ... looking forward to him hitting the 2ft mark !!

this what he looks like now. he prob will look diff when older and bigger. i got him for 20 bucks here from XoticAquatix.
