Made by Mardel

They make Maracyn and Maracyn-two.

Maracyn is erythromacin which is a gram positive antibiotic.

Columnaris is a gram negative bacteria.

Use Maracyn-two or better yet use furan-2 by API which is broad spectrum and kills both.

When in doubt as to what kind of bacteria you have use both Maracyn and Maracyn two at the same time. They can be used together.

I used Maracyn for columnaris before. The mouth of the fish was rotting (columnaris infection) and it healed up pretty well with Maracyn. I used it many times. I trust Mardel products and would always use them. I am an independent thinker so no debates please.

Haha, no debates because you're an "independent thinker?" OK...

I've used both together with great results. Any time I suspect a bacterial infection I use both and add a medicated food. Works well.

I'm an independent thinker too, but I don't mind a debate.:D
I just speak from personal experience
