Well I posted a picture here a while ago of a carp I pulled out of the Erie canal on a Pole.....I went fishing tonight and it was insane......caught this MONSTER off of salami i'm still shaking from the fight

I've had some hit fuzzy summer sausage while going for cats and gar. Might need to try that for the giant goldfish I kept seeing during the summer.
I've caught one carp on rod/reel and the hook set was done completely by the fish. I've never been able to set the hook myself.

it was such great fun =) if you have large carp near you I definitely recommend rod and reel fishing for them, sooo fun!
