So I recently acquired two new fish, a 7”-8” azul from a local MFKer (originally ordered from Jeff Rapps) & a semi short body endli from yet another MFKer @ 11.5”s. They are both currently in a quarantine tank by themselves. I know they must be a bit stressed due to transporting, new tank & all, but the azul keeps tagging along with the endli everywhere it goes. It sleeps next to the endli, it rests next to the endli after cruising the tank, hangs out with the endli, -- just kind of weird. It even wiggles its way between the endli & tank when there’s no room. Hope the endli doesn’t get tired & snaps at it. Interesting dynamic between these two.
Sorry for the foggy water in the vid, had just added salt & melafix – there are rub burns on both fish from transporting in a bucket.
Ok Ok, so I also made this thread to show you guys my new azul. This is my 4th cichla, so I am relatively new to the addiction. Pictures taken with an I-phone. Thanx all.
