BGK and African Brown

Hey everybody, I did a quick search but didn't find any info on this. I know that knives are aggressive towards their own species but would you be able to put a Black Ghost in with an African Brown peacefully? Or are knives in general aggressive to other knives?

For some reason, I hear that this combo doesn't work well. I'm thinking that maybe the tank wasn't big enough and/or there wasn't enough hiding spots. BGK are pretty territorial and ABK are pretty timid.

I tried it in an 8ft tank, 1x11" bgk and about 3-4 4" ones, lots of caves etc. The large bgk was unphased but the smaller ones, same size as abk were hassled by it. On this basis i'll say no but i can't speak for other people experiences
