BGK and Catfish

What kind of catfish can go with a black ghost knife? I was thinking of a lima shovelnose or tigrinus. Will these work? Any others?

maybe a lima..idk about the tig...i have a syno cat with mine...if a cat can fit it in its mouth it can eat it no mater how long it is....

Possibly a Lima, but you would need a good sized BGK. Maybe 6 inches or more to avoid being eaten. Just a purcaution.

Stick with small mouthed species, most knifefish are rather swallowable. I really like the bigger Doradids like Pseudodoras niger or Megalodoras.

How about a Jaguar catfish with a BGK?

my bgk is with a rtc right now and the rtc hasnt eaten him or even tried and hes close to 9 inches, the bgk is like 4 inches i just have places for him to hide theyve been likt this for like this for a while

if you keep this combo i am waiting for the post "my damn rtc ate my bgk" i am suprised it has lasted any amount of time...you should seperate them or you WILL lose the bgk, not may or possibly its WILL...
