can one black ghost knifefish be kept with green knifefish? im thinking of doing 1 bgk, and then 9 or so green knives for my pond. Also what other knives could i keep with them? a clown? idk hell probably hurt the greens right? pretty much im looking for a knifefish community with three or four diffrent species

BGKs are pretty territorial and won't let any Knife live with it for the most part. I know some people have had success, but I wouldn't risk it.
after losing a bgk, 5 centipede, and the elephant knife, i just dont see a good healthy "tank o knives" being a good idea.
i currently have an ABK and a human face vampire knife together. i think they work do to their places of origin different from one another.

okay thanks. So would a BGK be okay w like a black arrowana 10 silver dollars red hooks, and 4 oscars?
I have a BGK in with a silver aro and no problems. I wouldn't think the silver dollars would be much of an issue but depending on size the oscars might try to eat the knife.
As long as there isn't another Knife or any Electric fish or fish that will fit in a BGK's mouth, any other fish is fine with it.
i keep a small 4-5 in clown knife with a 7-8 in african knife 13in or so bgk and never have any issuses with them. they all keep to them selfs
