BGK and Red Tail Shark?

Thoughts on mixing these two? 60gal planted tank + plenty driftwood for now but will upgrade to bigger tank when all my fish get too big.

It's something you'll have to monitor, RTS can be nippy (not as bad as black sharks though).

I had a bad experience with a rainbow shark, really big bully once he got to the 3" mark. He picked on all the fish that were his size or smaller. From what I've read they need to have at least 3 sharks per tank so they can take the aggression out on each other.

try it...watch them if there is an issuse seperate them...i have 2bgks with african cichlids now with no problems, so it could work

I would go ahead with it and just make sure there are no major problems with aggression

VERY Bad idea! Pesonaly experience. My 2 Red Tails fought constantly with my BGK. Lots of fin nips, and it got worse as time past by.

Think having two of them had an effect? Supposedly it isnt advised to have more than one in a tank. Plus the size of the tank/decor matters I'm sure

I took out one and put him into a different tank, and then the last one on the tank still fought with the BGK. So I had to move him into a different tank also.
The tank is a 60-Gallon btw.
