My clown loaches have had white spot for about 3 weeks now. Tried treating it by rasing the temp to 32 degrees and vacuming the sand every other day. im having trouble killing off the white spot with heat alone and want to add salt, just want to know if my ghost knife can handle salt for a few days???? Im located in australia and we dont have the same meds available in usa and uk.
cheers

It should. Try 1 tsp per 10 g. If it's acting funny then need to do a massive water change.

I raise the temp and lower the water line. Water disturbance also makes the ich cycle hard to complete. Use salt as last resort.
I tried rasing the temp and vacuuming ever other days, il
Helped but never fully got rid of ick. I added salt over a few dayanyonteach desired amount, bgk clown loaches were all fine. It looked like salt was working but it ick came back so in the end I used wardleys ick away at just over half dose... Ick was was gone in a couple of days and all fish were fine
