Hey guess i am wondering if these 2 guys will be ok in the same tank together. The eel is about 7 inches and BGk is about 4 inches. They seem to hide in diffrent areas 2. Thanks guys

Need to know size of tank. Hope it's humongous because these are both large, bottom-strata fish and without enough square footage on the bottom of the tank there will be skirmishes. Also, what else is in there?

55g in there with 2 bushfish and 1 syno catfish

Sorry, no can do, tank is not big enough for tiretrack even without the BGK, and the cat will want to be on the bottom too.

Yes the tiretrack and bgk are ok with the other fishes, the problem is the tank, its too small even for the tiretrack. Check my signature below. i wish I have a Leopard bushfish... :(

Your tank sounds really cool, you have some interesting fish. IMHO it is also too small for two tire tracks at full size. Adding in the BGK and the bichirs and the makes your tank WAY overcrowded at the bottom when everybody grows up. Is this a brackish tank?

Yeah I know, I have 4 of these guys before (when I bought my first tiretrack eel, it died and i the lfs that I bought the fish from told me they are is already sold out and it depends who will import those fishes... you get the idea) and I sold the two coz I'm looking for the dominant tiretrack. I am still choosing among the two who is the dominant and who is not and then i'm gonna sell one of them.

What brackish tank are you talking about dmed? tank 1 or tank 2?

I was wondering about tank 1, but I see you have puffers in tank 2, so are they both brackish? I was wondering because I thought archer fish and the goby were brackish, and the tire track eel can live in brackish also.

Tank 1 well the archer is really brackish, but for some point this one can tolerate freshwater. The goby is not the brackish type of goby and it is really not a goby (forgot they called it). I think you're referring to the bumblebee goby or the mudskipper.

In tank two the green spotted puffers are already in a brackish condition and the fahaka puffer is in another tank which is freshwater. forgot to update my sig. :D

Here's the link of the goby I was talking about.
