BGK bitten 3 times from senegal..Strong hardy fish?

I have a BGK who was bitten 3 times from senegals..The 1st bite took the tip from his tail off..The 2nd time he was bit was in the belly/gill area and i thought he was gonna die..He had meat hanging out on one side...He started healing alittle and the fuggas got him again mid body...He is by himself now in a diff tank and seems to be making full recovery..I'm using the marine dark lights and the little bugga is pretty active and enjoying eating by himself!

I would have taken him out after the first incident.

Anyway, good to see it's making a good recovery.

if you have a hospital or quarantine tank, I would put him in there. dosing with some salt or melafix would help as well

They were together for 2-3 months before the 1st incident and went 2 weeks untill bite 2.

I would have taken him out after the first incident.

Anyway, good to see it's making a good recovery.

Sounds like the tank is too small or not adequate hiding spaces
