Hi all,
My BGK has been clicking loudly for the last few days (with short breaks here and there), there's no signs of stress and he is eating well.
I recently added a small bichir who almost choked on one of the small stones I have mixed with my sand so I decided to remove the substrate and go bare bottom. I thought that might have set him off but I have added the case of a large internal filter to the tank so he can be surrounded by something but he's still clicking away!
Any idea's of what may be going on with him? Can you have a bare bottom tank with BGK? Was the sand insulating the sound of the clicking that may have been there all along?
