I bought two BGK about a month and half ago. They were both about 3 inches, bought of similar size on purpose. One has grown a little, but the other has nearly doubled in size. It used to be I told them apart by the pattern on their tails, but now it's WAY obvious which is which.

My concern is for the little guy. They are both hand fed, so I know he's eating very well. Even that small, he's got a good *nip* to his bite. They live in a 60 gallon together and I haven't had the first issue of aggression between them. Lots of hiding places, etc, they're perfectly healthy. 'Cept the little guy is just not growing.

I'm concerned that my success in keeping them together is about to go south because the one's growth is slower. Anyone have any experience with this?

Your success in keeping them together is going to go south very very soon. Multiple BGKs are not a good idea.

Almost all of the aggression is going to be at night when the tank-lights are off. So you won't be able to monitor this or notice it till it may be too late.

I would recommend moving the BGK to another tank... or selling one of two.

Good luck,
Sid
