will my black ghost knifefish and hujeta gar be ok with a striped pike chiclid. The chiclid is quite small at the moment and is a brown colour with red tints and a solid black stripe down its body. I also have G gouramis a fire eel and irridescent sharks

Well telling us the pike cichlid is "small" doesn't let us in on much. What is the size difference between the hejuta and the pike cichlid? Hejutas will happily swallow things you would think they couldnt.
the hujetas are about 5 inches and the pike chiclid is about 3.5. I'm more concerned that when the pike chiclid reaches 16inches and the hujeta are only 8" and the bg knifefish is 12" Maybe i should rid of the hujetas get a spotted gar and a clown knifefish so all the fish can handle themselves.
