BGK: Lighting

Hey, Im new to this forum, and pretty new to fish keeping. I had a question concerning my BGK. Im setting up a 20L planted tank, all low light plants, and only 2 watts per gallon. Anyways, I was wondering if my BGK would be too shy or uncomfortable in 40 watts of a full spectrum bulb. If thats the case would using a gro bulb be a better accomodation for him considering the lower light intensity?

they will befine with any lighting. bgks need bigger tanks when full grown atleast a 75 gallon they can get 20" long

thanks. Im well aware of their tank size requirements, but I have a pretty limited budget. Hes only 3 inches or so. Gradually ill be able to get a larger home for him.
