BGK makes loud clicking sounds

i notice my bgk makes loud clicking sounds when eating it has done it as long as i have had it. it gets feed mostly nls sicking pelets but i have notice it makes this sound with blood worms too.

has any one else noticed this with theirs?

i use to notice it when i had it solo in a 10g but i could hear it sometimes in the 300g community. i just moved me tank so i have my bgk in a smaller tank right now but the clicking is loud like hear it across the room.

Yup...it's normal. Mine does it from time to time. Used to do it a lot more than it does now.

It's just the sound from his/her electric field that they use to sense food and their surrounds. Perfectly natural with Bgks
