yesterday my BGK was dead. I went and tested the water and it was fine. The guy told me that maybe one of my other fish stressed it out. I decided to turn the tank into a community tank maybe and wait a little bit before I try again. =(

they are just super sensative to everything, even more than water they really get stressed in strong lighting with inadequate decor, etc plus they are really sensitive to any electrical anything.

the amonia test was a little above 0 and i cant remember the other numbers. I kept half of the tank dark. and the other fish I had in there as two angels and some other smaller fish but they always stayed at the top. I also had a black red tail shark that was in there but he never bothered my ghost. The guy at the store that my water conditions were fine. and I didnt have the tank in direct sunlight it actually gets no sunklight becuse its in my hall way.

I had him for about 2 weeks

I love this species, they are my favorite fish, I usually wait till I find some larger ones before I buy, what is your filtration?
I used to have problems with this species but then I put in an airstone disk and haven't had any problems since.
Buy I very sorry for your loss, they are my favorites.
