I just bought some "sinking carnivore pellets" by hikari but my ghost knife doesn't seem interested in them. I usually feed during the day because thats really the only time I get to see it. When I drop some of the pellets in it comes out of hiding and searches for food but won't eat. He/she readily accepts everything else I feed it, Is there a way I can get it to accept the pellets?

I got mine to accept pellets. I was feeding them to other fish in the tank and one day he just went for them. I pellet trained my dad's BGK onto NLS in about a week, just didn't offer anything else. A lot of it probably depends on the individual as to how long it will take but most should convert. I've seen them take flake food (not that I would feed it).

Aye, feed it just pellets for a while, and it'll learn to accept to eat it. Drop a bit in everyday. It prolly won't eat the pellet, but it'll see it. Once it's gone long enough without eating, it'll learn to accept the pellets and eat 'em up. Then start feeding as normal.
