just finding out what my options are... will BGKs eat small tetras? in other words could one go in a peaceful community tank? also, are there any knifes that stay relatively small (small enough for a 20 long) and would do ok with things like teras and black khuli loaches?

basically im wanting an oddball centerpiece fish for my 20 long community (and yes i know a BGK would out grow it :)). suggestions please :D

You can probably get away with an African Brown Knife. They average 8" Not too predatory, but shouldn't be kept with anything too small. Congo Tetras would be great with them.

i should mention the tetras i have at the moment are very small. i have ember tetras, their max sive is less than an inch :) would a brown knife view those as food?

Most Knives would view those as food. The Centipede Knife would be good too. They are shy and average 12" but are fairly thin. If you're looking to keep those Tetras, I can't think of any, but maybe someone else has some suggestion.
