hi has anyone had any experience of keeping large BGK say 14" that have taken smaller fish in the tank ?? am asking as im having to move a few fish into the large tank and wondering if my young angels would be ok to upgrade early @ 3" ? ive never seen my 2 try it with any other tankmates but their size makes me wonder! thanks in advance

IME BGKs are very territorial and would defend their territory aggressively.

so it would be safe to move the angels up as the bgk's arnt going to try and eat them ??

I had a friend lose 50$ worth of angels. Than again i have seen people do is successfully. It's a 50/50 chance

Well...the predatory skills of a BGK is always in question. I actually wanted to try it out so I currently have a 7" with fish as small as 1" and it seems fine. They've been together for 5-6 months now. I believe that Angels will be safe because they are "tall" fish, but at the size you're looking at, you might run a risk.
