BGK problem

Hi,
My black ghost knife has stopped coming to the surface and eating out of my hand.. This was a great way to ensure that he got a big feed now he sits at the bottom and only gets the crums.. So I have started feeding him pellets.. Does anyone know how to get him back to eating out of my hand?

keep tring...thats the best way unless you try to feed it were it likes to stay...

Sometimes a change in weather can cause them to retreat. Unreal as it seems, and the fact that their tank temperature doesn't change, the fish seem to know the seasons. It is similar to when you move a tank and change the north/south/east/west direction...the fish reacts by retreating for a period of time or not. In my experience, he will come back out and he will again eat from your hands...our is an old guy.
