How long would a 16 1/2 inches wide inside width and 58 1/2 inches long and 27 inches high inside dimensions keep a black ghost knife?

A: Its full life

B: Until it gets to such and such length

C: Only one 12 inches or smaller.

i don't understand the question. 16.5 inch diameter? what do you mean? does that mean a tank that if measured on each of the 4 walls, it would be a total of 16.5 inches around? or are you meaning 16.5 inches in width, only? if so, what's the length?

I think you should be good for a long while. They tend to average 16"-18" in captivity, so personally, I'd feed more comfortable with a width of at least 18" but you should be good.
