how big do they get before they start eating feeders?? he is eating blodworms now. and doing great after i took the african knife out cuz he was bullying him.

You could probably start at 6" But the tend to max out at an average of 18" in aquariums.

yea i know that they reach 18" in aquariums. i just wanna get him on feeders like most of my other fish

dont get him on feeders, youll regret it when you get a batch of infected feeders.

Mine is about 7" and still has yet to eat any of the neons/cardinals in his tank.

At least put the feeder fishes on quarantine first before feeding to your bgk

yes i have a 10g that the feeders go into. and i always make sure they are healthy before i put them in with my fish.

i have a friend whos small <4inch bgk eats small feeders and bloodworms, it grows real quick
