I have a 125 gallon tank with a sand bottom and I would like to have a BGK for the tank. There is 2.5" swordtails, 4" angelfish, 2" angel rams, multiple catfish with the smallest being 2.5-3" I also have a polypterus delhezi and some plecostomus, also a snail. So would a BGK work for life? I can always move some of the fish to a different tank.

He would do for the most part BGK grows to 2 feet and 125 are 18" wide so he doesn't have much turning space when he is full grown but u could have him for a long period of time, he us fine with what he is with for now but watch those sword tails as he gets bigger, I have my BGK with clown loaches, bala sharks, African knife and a dragon goby those are fish u can get pretty much anywhere at a fish store but if u wanna go more advanced u could put him with an Arowana of a spotted gar, but he looks best with schooling fish :)

I think that I'll just pass on the BGK Since he would have to compete for food with a lot of catfish
5 cories
2 spotted raphael catfish
2 BN pleco
2 banjo catfish
Synodontis petricola
Synodontis eupterus
Sailfin pleco
Polypterus delhezi
