This is propbably a dumb question, but is it normal for a BGK to have a fin on the end of his tail? I've looked at alot of pictures of them (google images) and I have not seen any with a fin on the tip of its tail like mine. Mine has a fan shaped fin on the tip of its tail that points up rather than straight back. When I first noticed it I though maybe it was a wound but its been 2 months and now that he's bigger I can clearly see that it is a fin and is even getting a black band in it, and it seems to be growing with him. He's heathy and a good eater and is fairly active especially when feeding.

It's normal. Mine has one. It's just sometimes not noticed by many. Here's a pic of my Delhezi with my BGK's tail in the way.
