Somewhere lost
I have a 2" black ghost knife and it dont look like he is eatting when in my 55 gallon hes not the only one in the tank none of them even bother him he scares the bigger fish actualy I was woundering what a good way to get him to eat is I was planing on putting him in a 20 gallon in till I know he is eatting fine I tried frozen bloodworms and flakes

They're nocturnal. So your best best is to feed at night. Eventually, it'll become bold enough to eat during the day and in front of you. How long have you had it now?

When did you put him in?

If you recently acquired him, he might still be shocked from the change in surroundings. However, if you're feeding him during the day, he will definitely not eat since he's nocturnal.

I feed my fish when I wake up and before I go to sleep I check in every now and then to make sure they are eatting he has been in there a couple days but he was doing the same thing before just eatting a couple peices of the flakes he stays in the back right corner of the tank and hides in or around the 5 holed rock I have which normaly the red tail sharks in but he scares the shark away every time he goes in this tanks not for long I am getting a 90 gallon tank for him and try and get some good tank mates for him also

mine hides in a black tube and will feed from there with no problems .. will not feed anywhere other then that spot .. but it has learned that when it goes there ... a whole block of blood worms is going to come for him ..

he waits there a lot

I was thinking about picking up some frozen blocks of brine shrimp If I were to give him small pieces seams hes only 2" do you think he would eat those?

Yes. It should be fine. I think Knives prefer Frozen Bloodworms.

try small ghost shrimp my bgks love them and small peices of market shrimp mine loves those also just some thoughts
