Last night I spent a bit of time reading up on BGK here but a few questions I didn't find the answer for. First off, for a full grown BKG, what size tank should it be kept in? Mine is currently in a 55G however, he/she is only 3"
Also, I just got this guy today. How long does it usually take them to settle in and begin eating?
Oh! Sorry, one more question. One of my peacock eels love cut up red wigglers. Will BGKs also eat these? What other live foods will they eat that I should be able to get locally?

How quick do these guys grow so I know how long I have to get the tank, set it up, and complete a fishless cycle?

I got my bgk at 4" and in 8 months it has grown to about 10-12". Mine eats frozen blood worms, and within the last couple months started eating live ghost shrimp.
