I have three 12 inch plus BGK. Two of them seem to love tetra crisp flake found. Anyone else found their bgk have an appetite for flakes?

My BGK is a hog lol when it comes to food. When BGK was young sucked up tetra flakes. BTW what other foods are you feeding your BGK's?

Easily their favorite food is cut shrimp. They also get a very large variety of sinking pellets with the hikari carnivore pellet being the favorite pellet.

My BGK loves shrimp pellets!

Mine loves massivore, pieces of prawn and garden worms are by far the favourite

Mine didn't take to flake for its first 6 years or so, then I discovered him eating it by accident one day lol

My 11" BGK goes nuts for his hikari carnivore pellets. He literally pushes my other fish out of the way to grab them all first.

My 14-15" will eat literally anything even enjoys feeders sometimes if they come into his area. (only using feeders for stubborn catfish)

one of mine is in a planted community tank. I can't tell if the fish are disappearing though

My 5 inch bgk eats only peeled shrimp and small market fish
