BH 2700 REEFLO PUMP

I was going buy the 2700 reeflo for a close loop. And was curious if anyone had any experience with this pump. Thanks

It's called a "Reeflo blowhole". Bh 2700 is the model I believe.

Oh yeah! Those are fun little pumps and very quiet. Powerful and easy-to-use via the switches to change flow rates. I really liked mine.

What size tank willwill you be using it on? I had mine on a 120 gallon.

I read alot of reviews of them over heating and catching fire. They said they are really quiet pumps because they don't have a cooling fan and that is what causes them to overheat. Are you still using this pump? If so how long in operation?

I was running mine for about 2 years. No issues with heat at all. I would not use this as the sole pump for a 460 gallon but otherwise think it's a fine pump.
