Since FMs are on the mellower side of the Cichlid kingdom, they would be fine, but provide LOTS of caves and hiding spots for the BGKs adn FMs.

the combination has failed and my BGKF are missing i added them last night and this morning they are gone!!!!!!!!!!!

What's your set up like? BGKs like to hide in tight spaces some times.

well i have 10 caves setup in my tank and i have searched the whole aquarium but did nt found that one

They were the same size as the Firemouth?

Did you rearrange the tank before you placed the BGK in? When adding fish, it's always a good idea to rearrange the decor, especially with Cichlids.

how big is your tank? but for the most part, fm's and bgfk would be fine together
becuase as someone already said fm's are for the most part mellow
