Interesting side effect: I bought a sponge filter to act as extra filtration for my tank, and oddly enough my little senegalus seems to love it. At the moment he's the 55's only inhabitant and while hes been very active during feeding time he usually stays in or near a cave in the tank corner. But since I added the new filter he's been swimming around a lot more. Its hooked to an air pump so its producing a lot of bubbles I don't know if the increased oxygen levels have him energized or whether he just likes the bubbles becasue he keeps swimming through them. LOL I swear he thinks its a toy. Wish I had a video camera id show him playing in them.
