I plan on putting a bicher with a yellow lab and maybe a couple of cobalts and was wondering would there be enough food left for bichers?

What is their feeding behavior like? Do they eat at the surface or only eat things that sink? Do they feed like oscars do? I know that ciichlids are voracious eaters and they'd even eat sinking shrimp pellets I'm sure...I just want my bicher to get plenty of food =)

you should feed them sinking food, especially if there are fast eaters, bichirs tend to eat slow cause they use their sense of smell not their eyes

Bichirs are non-agressive predators and should not be kept with agressive species that can outcompete them for food
Q.What is their feeding behavior like?
A.Most bichirs tend to be bottom feeders
Q.Do they eat at the surface or only eat things that sink?
A.Actualy they prefer foods that sink I only have two that will feed from the surface-Anne

both senegals I used to have and the palmas polli I currently have will eat from the surface, but they prefer feeding from the bottom and the ornatipinnis and palmas buttikoferi I have only eat from the bottom.

if you get a bichir with those cichlids, I'd feed the cichlids from one side of the tank, and once their mouths are full drop some sinking pellets in the other side of the tank. you can also drop in some sinking pellets an hour or 2 after lights out when the cichlids are at rest.
