bicher jack dempsey problem

my dempsey is attacking my bicher's tail and its turning white. its chasing her around the tank. what should i do? i thought they would get along together

Separate them. Or get rid of the bichir.

At this point your best bet would be to get rid of one or the other. If you wan't to keep both, then one option to do would to put a divider in the tank.
