i am thinking about getting a weeksii bicher soon and wondering what a good price is so i dont get ripped off. i also would like to know how it would do with a oscar, pleco, and tt eel. thanks

The pleco might be an issue. They can sometimes develop a taste for slime coat. I hear Bristle nose are safe though.

I doubtit. I think several people here keep eels and Bichirs together. Look around, I don't have any experience with eels so you may want a second opinion. Oh and IME Oscars grow faster than bichirs so watch their size ratio or your weeksii could become a snack.

Shouldn't be a problem, I have all those together now though my pleco is getting way too big! He's never had a problem with the bicher.
He beats up the oscar though when oscar tries to mess with him.
Bear in mind that these guys have been together for wuite awhile!

Few issues:

- plecos love bichir slime coat

- oscars can sometimes be a little aggressive and they are very aggressive towards food and they might out compete the TT eel and bichir for food

Some plecos, not all, its trial and error. I've kept a royal panaque with my ornate and never had a problem, same with fei feng. Its one of those hit-and-miss thing.

I'm sure iLoveHebe agrees, just to save him making another post....

Just an FYI i have known several people who have owned weekii's and the majority have the same story they tend to hide a lot and tend to be fairly agressive-Anne
