Can a Ropefish live in a 30g for life?

if it is a 30 long, then you can, but they are active and I'd go with something a bit bigger, like a 40 breeder or a 55

Yeah ropes get to 3 feet/90 cm =P So a senegalus would be ok but a bigger tank and an oranate or teugelsi would be AWSOME =P

You could keep senegals and some Short body bichirs...

A shortbody albino sen would do nicely. They only get up to around 7-8" maximum size.

I think all regular albino senegals max out at 7-8"... I haven't seen any of them bigger than that..

Id go with a 40 breeder for either fish personally. But a sen could live isolated in the 30 I suppose depending on the foot print.
