bichir activity?

Is it normal for a bichir senglas to float every now and then, swim abit, and then float some more, ust got one today and wanted a bit of info, thanks

i have 2 senegals the first one nver floated at all but the second one always floats at the surface and in the plants so it probally is normal though beblondie will know more

I think its pretty normal, my small ornate does the same thing

i have seen them do this, if they feel they are safe enough they just float around, and usually when they are lazy lol
